You Can Make Corbin’s Favorite Breakfast! Corbin loves his French Toast a la mode. He has revealed his recipe so you can make it too!
“It’s soooo good.” Corbin shares.
What You Need:
- 4 Eggs
- 1 tablespoon of ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tiny pinch of salt
- 1 cup of milk
- 10 to 12 slices of white bread (for you and your friends!)
- 2 tablespoons margarine ( or butter )
- LOTS OF SYRUP
- a gallon of vanilla ice cream (slow churned is best)
What To Do:
1. Break the eggs into a wide, shallow bowl; beat lightly with a fork, then stir in the cinnamon, vanilla, salt and milk.
2. Over medium-low heat, heat griddle or skillet coated with a thin layer of margarine (or butter). Place the bread slices one at a time, into the bowl of the egg mixture. Let the slices soak up the egg mixture for a few seconds, then carefully turn the bread over and let it soak the other side. Soak only as many slices as you will be cooking at one time.
3. Transfer the bread slices to griddle or skillet, heating slowly until the bottom is golden brown. Turn and brown the other side. Place two slices of hot french toast on a plate. Serve with a scoop of icecream on top and pour on the syrup. [Serves 4]
4. Enjoy a scrumdidiliumcious meal!
